This is a personal project loosely based on one of my favorite science-fiction book series: The Hyperion Cantos by Dan Simmons. I emphasize the word ‘loosely’ because I’m mostly just using some of the cool concepts presented in the books as an inspiration for the design.
The idea behind the animation is basically like taking a trip into the mind of an Artificial Intelligence (TechnoCore) as it dreams… almost psychedelic in nature. To be honest, I’m not even sure if this video makes any sense at all but it was really fun to do and allowed me to be as creatively weird as possible… so, enjoy.
